David Willson was the man behind the Olympic Ministry to the lead up of the Sydney Olympic Games. He now serves the entire international network for major event consultation.
Specialising in sports ministry events, Willson coordinated the Youth & Sports work during the Atlanta Olympics. 
There are now over 38 regional or international sports events that occur in every
four year cycle. And the number is growing. The events include all World Cups, African, Asian, South Asian, and Pan Am Games just to name a few.
Willson's primary role is to consult with host city churches and agencies. He assists those who are organizing the serving of the athletes with chaplaincy, the linking of international agencies, sports, outreach and resource agencies as partners for each event.
